Saskatchewan Archaeology Society – Points of Interest book cover
The Saskatchewan Archaeology Society (SAS) was developing a new book about Points (the scientific word for what are commonly referred to as arrowheads) and wanted to differentiate it from the other publications.
The title of the new book held the key to the general creative concept – Points of View. This title was taken literally and was made into a day and night scene that incorporated flora and fauna found throughout the province. The points were subtly incorporated within the scene through the use of the contour shape of an Oxbow point.
The final graphics were also made to allow for unlimited use by the client for their promotional purposes.
