Kahkewistahaw First Nation – KFN Community Patrol Branding
Kahkewistahaw First Nation was needing a distinct look for their newly funded First Nation Community Patrol – including branding that could be applied to uniforms and vehicles.
The brand was formed through research on ‘force projection’ and how to use colour and imagery to display to the general public a consistent and powerful aesthetic. The eagle and shield motif references the First Nations name (eagle flying) and the core message of the brand – protection.
The vehicle decals made use of value-for-money through the use of modular graphics as opposed to a full vehicle wrap. The graphics were also informed through the current trends of policing graphics to ensure high visibility.
