Indigenous Chamber of Commerce Saskatchewan

The Indigenous Chamber of Commerce Saskatchewan (ICCS) is a new start-up organization that will represent all Indigenous (First Nations, Métis and Inuit) business organizations in Saskatchewan. The ICCS is a membership driven organization that acts as a provincial hub for professionals and businesses. These entities can be owned, and operated by, or employ Indigenous peoples. The ICCS strives to be a resource by delivering their services through events, an online hub, and networking services. It will also provide marketing, online directory, and business information – including grants; loans; programs; and educational possibilities.

The ICCS needed a logo that represented their organization and the diverse stakeholder group. The result is a showcase of the Engagement Party’s commitment to the belief of ‘Modern Traditionalism.’ It also demonstrates the robust delivery of the multitude of layouts (lock-ups) that are required in modern communications. The built in quality of the designs ensure consistent application in full colour, one colour, and reverse/knockout (white).

Long-form: use of the full name of the entity – Indigenous Chamber of Commerce Saskatchewan
Short-form: use of the acronym – ICCS
Icon based: a small pictogram that can be used in modern communication applications (e.g. social media icon)

This project won the Award of Merit at the 2019 Premier’s Awards of Excellence in Design.
