Dakota Dunes Adventures – Indigenous tourism
With a resurgence of interest in First Nations and Indigenous tourism opportunities – Whitecap Dakota First Nation have developed their own tourism packages and branded the operation as Dakota Dunes Adventures.
The Engagement Party used the opportunity to incorporate historical elements within the logomark to provide interest points while maintaining the overall visual branding from the main corporate identities (the arrowhead icon and Dakota Dunes typography). These visual elements also serve as indicators as to what type of activities are available for tourists and guests – canoeing, horseback riding, and various other cultural-specific activities.
The new logo allows for a variety of modern applications suitable for a tourism brand – everything from corporate uniforms to items in the gift shop can now be branded appropriately and clearly. Another Indigenous Tourism project The Engagement Party is proud to have been a part of.
