Dakota Dunes Resort Interior Graphics
The Whitecap Dakota First Nation had built their cornerstone project and needed an interior graphics package that worked within the interior design parameters that the architects had developed for the spaces.
The spaces that required interior graphics included: the main foyer, elevator lobbies, hallways, penthouse pool room, main dining rooms, and the lounge.
The core concept of the visuals was based on Chief Bear’s headdress motif, and was redesigned to develop a series of geometrical patterns. These patterns are found throughout the interior spaces and are used as wallpaper, window films, and key statement walls.
Other graphics were introduced throughout the spaces, including abstracted animal motifs and historical maps of the traditional Dakota territories.
